I have two friends who are currently in law school and after reading this, I wonder if either of them will end up on my couch at some point in the future. I'm not going to lie, I'd rather see Heidi when I wake in the morning as opposed to Josh and his missus. I'd probably be the one on the damn couch if they moved in.
Regardless of my desire, or lack of, for housemates, reading an article like this, scares the crap out of me. It also makes me glad that I decided to put off law school twice now.
Josh is in a good school. He's published. He's on law review. He's got a good shot at making it into a good firm. I can't say the same thing for Heidi. I am certainly hoping for the best for both of my friends.
On a side note, I came across an article a few days ago that offered advice to Realtor's that if they could get out of the business and do something else for 3-5 years, then do it. It almost seems like that's the best advice for anyone who really wants to go to law school.
