Here is a story that I wrote and Steve Black illustrated. I originally posted these as seperate blog posts but since I finally have them all lettered up I decided to post them together to make it more readable. Enjoy.
Thanks guys. I was surprised to get more comments on this.

This is fantastic. Steve's art really highlights your words. More, please.

I just had a chance to read this. It's great.

I had an English prof once who definted poetry as taking an idea, writing about it, and condensing it into as few words as possible -- paring your words down as much as possible leaving nothing but a pure, perfect represenation of that idea -- or as close to perfect as a human can get. "The Killing Jar" definitely fits this bill.

Deep. Where is family when you need them or where were we for our family when they needed us?

Think you might have any interest in contributing The Killing Jar to an anthology? It wouldn't pay much, but some. Just let me know if you have any interest and we'll talk details. Needless to say this is an excellent comic/story.

Thanks guys. Thanks for taking the time to read it and comment.
This is the first place I've published this story in its entirety (art, lettering, all of the pages). I really wasn't sure how it was going to be received. Initially I only planned for it to be seen in print in a sketchbook/magazine that I plan on publishing vanity press full of sketches, some paintings, and stories that sort of fizzled out or that I didn't have a better venue for but I still want to see the light of day.
