Today, Independence Day 2012, my wife and I took our kids to a local park. Hardly anyone was there and it was a wonderful time exploring the outdoors, finding bugs, and being together. It was warm with a breeze, just perfect weather as we were all recovering from colds and flu-like stuff from last week. Earlier in the day we had grilled burgers and rib eye steaks for our July fourth picnic. Everyone in bed now and reflecting on how great a history we have as a nation. Happy independence day!
