It was all very quiet and calm. Wednesday is our usual mid-week date night. [Medium] met Rebekah at her place after work Wednesday, July 13, 2010, with yellow Asiatic lilies. Rebekah put them in the sake bottle he got her at a garage sale St. Valentine's Day weekend. Then he said he had another present for her. He pulled out a little red box and said, "I wanted to give you this and ask you to marry me." She said Yes. We went to a tiny Italian place around the corner. Rebekah was silly and ordered something very spicy, which goes to show girls sometimes need romance lessons, too. We went home and toasted with cider but were too full and tired to attack the second half of the chocolate cake we got the previous Saturday. Then we called our parents.

Rebekah's engagement ring once belonged to [Medium]'s great-grandmother. It bears a sapphire, Rebekah's birthstone.

It's what we had on hand. It was hard cider.

Best water based pomade for under $8?

I use Murray's, but it hasn't been holding well or giving me much height lately, due to the humidity. I live in Maryland and it is very humid, all year round. It doesn't work well because of that. I love Murray's because it lasts a while and it works well with my wallet. I have a minimum wage job that makes it hard for me to buy expensive products. So, what is the best water based pomade for under $8? I'm looking for one with high hold and low to medium shine.See More
