Posted on February 25, 2010 at 1:38pm 2 Comments

Throughout your life you’re going to have to sign contracts. They may be for a credit card, a car purchase, a rental agreement or any number of other things. But unless you plan on being 100% self sufficient you’re going to have to sign them.…

Have you every tried to spell your name out to someone over the telephone? How about give your loan officer the VIN of your car? The phonetic differences between B, C, D and E are pretty small when they’re mixed in with a bunch of different letters and numbers.

Thankfully the military has had a solution for this for a number of years. If you’ve ever heard a report on a police radio or at least watched a military film, you’ve probably noticed the use of words in replace of… Continue

Yeah, while I was in high school and for the early part of my time at Utah State University, I was really into the ska/reggae scene. I have to agree, the scene here at one time was phenomenal, but it has died down as of late. I didn't know about the AOM Utah group, I'll have to check it out. Thanks for the heads up!

Hey Tanner, Thanks for starting the discussion in the AoM Utah group. I'm trying to think of some ideas to help get the group growing and more active. If you have any ideas, I would love to hear them. Thanks again.

Evening, gents!

Been a lurker here at AoM for years. Decided to become a member a few weeks ago and thought I'd introduce myself. The community has been great so far. It adds to the AoM experience quite a bit. Anyway, my name is Landon. I'm not much use physically thanks to a type of tumor I have, so I like to work on my mind rather than my body. Some of my favorite articles from AoM are Ben Franklin's 13 virtues and the 3-part series about willpower, how it's depleted and how you can strengthen it. Well,…See More
