"Somehow I can't believe there are many heights that can't be scaled by a man who knows the secret of making dreams come true. This special secret, it seems to me, can be summarized by four Cs. They are Curiosity, Confidence, Courage, and Constancy, and the greatest of these is Confidence. If you believe a thing, believe it all over, implicitly and unquestioningly."

*While I have clients, I don't really have enough to meet all my financial needs. For a number of reasons I won't get into, getting regular job isn't really an option right now so I need to stick with this until I make it…

Hi there Tom. Welcome to AoM. Also, thought I'd give you a friendly invite to check out my group, The Great Debate. Just click on "Groups." It's the one with the colorful galaxy picture. It's also one of the most active groups on AoM. In any case, great to have you aboard.

The Horror of Day to Day Life

I was thinking about how with a change in perspective and the tone of language we used to describe something, we can easily make many day to day things into warped horror movie premises. Examples:When we eat meat and seafood, we are eating corpses. The terms meat and seafood basically exist because saying that we are eating corpses or flesh is really unpleasant sounding. We also say meat "went bad" or "spoiled" because actually describing it as flesh that has decomposed more than what we are…See More
