Tod Creasey replied to Penelope's discussion Clothes Shopping - How much customer service?
"Like many of the posters it depends what I am buying. If I am in the thrift shop or a chain shop no problem. If I am looking at a $300 pair of shoes then I want the help as it is really going to matter. Basically if you are charging a premium price…"

Tod Creasey replied to Josey Orr's discussion What kind of online store do you gentleman like to shop at?
"Here here. I return about half of the shirts I order because of sleeve length issues (and I am an XL with a 35 arm). Same deal with trousers - I cycle to work so I have big legs so a lot of trousers are way too tight."

"I work in high tech and it is the same here - at least at the first 2-3 levels in the organization - but when we have to go to customers more often the dress goes up too. I said screw it and wear a sport jacket everyday. A suit is too much I agree…"

Chuck Knight replied to Tod Creasey's discussion Hat for Spring and Summer
"A hat like this is a staple where I live, in Texas.  White for summer, black for winter.  And, straw hats are fairly inexpensive. I know rodeo is big up in Canada, so there should be some good western wear shops.  Could you get away…"

Hat for Spring and Summer

As spring is coming in the next couple of months I want think about what to wear when I am out with the family that looks good - my old 1998 vintage bucket hat needs to go and a baseball cap doesn't help my neck or ears.I am pretty pale skinned and so I burn easily - I wear a hat to prevent having to deal with buckets of sunscreen all of the time. I am also a father of 2 and in my 40s so something that looks good on a younger man may look like a mid life crisis on me.What are you wearing?TodSee More
