"You made a good choice by going with the Glenlivet to start. As for a cigar, I might suggest a Dirt Torpedo. The filler is blended with pipe tobacco, which gives it a very vice aroma and taste."

Favorite smell for shave soap?

Hello,I started shaving with a safety razor not too long ago after my brother gave me a kit for my birthday. I tried the samples that he included, including a sandalwood. I found one that is fantastic, and it was Lavender and Cedar from the Napa Soap Co. I slather that lather on when I have a shave, and feel like a new man afterwards. i was curious to see what scents other members here have tried and liked.See More

"I'm kind of hoping nobody will be open to ax-throwing. Seriously, though, I don't think you're going to be able to find or create a fraternal order for archaic + enviro-friendly skill training, because  a) if you want…"

"The Masons have a host of orgs for young people.  Oddfellows has something.  But they're for minors, not men, because young men are invited to join as first-class members."
