I earned my Eagle Scout badge eight years ago, but never got the court of honor for it, which started bothering me today, but I’ll get over it.  Here is a speech a kid gave at his court of honor…Continue

This is the only article I have read on the subject but I think it reasonable to think it happens and reasonable to think it is underreported.  I’ve never been in the military but wanted to know what…Continue

Theo Hunter replied to SB's discussion Friday Political Mindbender
"PBS and NPR are probably two of the least political news sources.  PBS has about 10 hours of educational cartoons a day, about an hour of news and then some science show like NOVA, a historical drama, or Antiques Road show.  The news seams…"

Jason replied to Theo Hunter's discussion What is the scariest movie you have seen ever? and recently?
"Yeah, I've heard of this movie.  This is the real deal.  Also look into a movie called Audition.  It's Japanese I think, and really messed up."

Jason replied to Theo Hunter's discussion What is the scariest movie you have seen ever? and recently?
"Signs!!! Hell yeah!  The first time I saw that part where the alien walks out during the kids birthday party my hair was on end.  Different from scary, something else, but whatever it was I'll never forget that."

Dallas the Phallus replied to Theo Hunter's discussion What is the scariest movie you have seen ever? and recently?
"Okay, I'll add it to my list. It has certainly be influential, that's for sure. Lots of movies based on that set-up: trapping people in a remote place with some kind of predator after them. I wonder if that movie really did start that plot…"

"Oh, I misread that. I agree about The Fog being a better movie, btw. And once again, I recommend you watch EFNY. Also rewatch The Thing. That is quite possibly the best sci-fi/horror movie ever made."

Dallas the Phallus replied to Theo Hunter's discussion What is the scariest movie you have seen ever? and recently?
"I said, I can tolerate, not not tolerate. I've actually never seen EFNY, and it's been so long since I saw the Thing remake that I just don't remember it. Halloween is a classic, and I will watch it from time to time, but it really is…"
