My Treasure Box

"My old man, a WW II infantry vet of the Pacific campaign, had a box of box of campaign ribbons, snapshots, shirt studs, all kinds of stuff that we would haul out from time to time and look through.  Hadn't thought about that in years until…"

My Treasure Box

My four kids spent many days in their youth combing through my box: days they would set it in the middle of the floor and gather round and examine each memeory...occasionally had to retrieve things they'd take out and put in their rooms!

John Muir replied to Stuart Charles's discussion Moneys... and what to do with em
"I guess as far as household repairs goes, it depends on what your hardship tolerance is and if you have kids.  We just toughed it out without a water heater for a month while I very, very, very slowly figured out which tankless hot water heater…"

Native Son replied to Stuart Charles's discussion Moneys... and what to do with em

"I think y'all are just moving down the intimacy timeline and expecting it to look like the first few months, and reacting to it when it doesn't, then taking the rub too seriously. If one of you is in a bad mood, just spend time apart or…"

Roland replied to Rush's discussion Praying for Wife Material. Selfish Prayer? in the group Christian Men
"Of course not, that is how a believer is to live, friend. It took me 20 years of prayer; I have the wife the Lord provided me, and now I understand why it seemingly took so long... Our Lord is not in a hurry, he provides the best for us, if we…"
