A manly break away

Posted on June 4, 2010 at 3:33am 6 Comments

Salutations gentlemen
I realise there has been somewhat of a hiatus between my blog posts. I have had very little to report other than my relentless pursuit of cravats, my obsession with badgers and near death experiences with my ironically named 'safety razor'.
I did however manage to make a short holiday in the most delightful part of England known as the 'The Lake District'. Whereupon I stayed with the family on a nature reserve which reminded me of the Hitchcock classic 'The…

Gentlemen, I feel I must share with you a rather revealing article I came across whilst investigating this phenomena of manliness.

My particular stance on manliness has so far focused on dress and manners. In short it is a quest for etiquette, politeness and hankering for all…

The joy of thrift

Posted on April 28, 2010 at 9:00am 3 Comments

Well men, today was a joyous day in my 'menaissance'.

I went out into the local thrift/charity stores in the village and bought myself an arsenal of smart clothes.
This included a brand new navy blue blazer, a brand new (with tags) sports jacket, a very smart Italian suit jacket, a pair of brand new trousers and a fantastic shirt (with tags).

Coupled with my new DE razor and blades, a splash of 'Old Spice' (which my wife loves) it has…

"Seems to me that a great deal of commentators here seem to support the use of violence. I find this particularly distasteful. The apologists for these thugs roll out their tired old platitudinous comments such as "it's the only way to get their views across in the media".
Did Gandhi ever do this or Martin Luther King advocate violent protest?"

I agree old chap, but you should perhaps be more mindful of your online security. Security isn't a dirty word. Crevice is a dirty word, but security isn't.

Well, the group isn't just about zombie movies though. This is a group for us the prepare for the inevitable plague that will descend upon us in the final years. We have to know how to maintain our manliness as a members of the undead.

I'm sure a man of your calibre will be able to provide plenty of advice for maintaing a fashionable wardrobe for the hard-to-please zombie.
