I'm in the midst of reading a tremendous book - "A world of my own" by Robin Knox-Johnston, about his successful attempt to become the first man to sail around the world single-handed and non-stop. The book itself is fantastic, and I recommend it whole-heartedly, but this post isn't about the book, it's about a quote contained within the book.
