Quote
A human being is a part of a whole, called by us _universe_, a part limited in time and space. He experiences himself, his thoughts and feelings as something separated from the rest... a kind of optical delusion of his consciousness. This delusion is a kind of prison for us, restricting us to our personal desires and to affection for a few persons nearest to us. Our task must be to free ourselves from this prison by widening our circle of compassion to embrace all living creatures and the whole of nature in its beauty.

Picking and Planning For Your First Apartment

Over the past couple of months, I found myself charged with the task of finding my first apartment. Being a student, I spent the last three years living in a dorm during the school year and living at home during the summer. So, for my fourth year of college, I decided it was time to move into my own apartment.

It's a step everyone has to take at some point. It's that moment where you realize that you no longer live at home with mom and dad, which is also likely where you grew up. It can be a da… Continue

Yea, I'm fine Shane. I took a couple small internet breaks myself. I do it every so often to make sure I haven't developed yet another addiction! LOL. Good to see you are back among the AoM crowd!

the Opeth Interview isn't posted yet, but here's a link to the interview I did with Byron from God Forbid. I'll let you know when the Opeth interview is edited. They were amazing live, as was Enslaved.

Hey Shane. Sorry it took me some time to respond. Yes, I am going to see Opeth next week in Boston with Enslaved. I'm really psyched. I've wanted to see them live for a long time. Bonus is that I'm going to interview them before the show for my buddy's cable access show in Providence. Once it's done, I'll put it up on YouTube. I'll let you know how the show is.

Shane, you are right about Jeeps. They just keep rolling. I told my wife after I had my '03 for a couple years. OK. This is it. One way or another, that little red Jeep is going to stay in the family. No trading it in for some practical SUV or anything! LOL.
