"Awesome! I've read the butter thing is good for you too and actually helps "fill you up."  I tried it, but I think it was regular crappy butter.  I think I'll have to try again with the legit stuff."

"That's how I got started, man.  As the years went on my palette changed and I could appreciate coffee's flavor more, depending on the roast.  I hate darks roasts--I never really liked the taste of carbon much."

"Haha nice.  When I first started drinking coffee (doused with sugar and cream) I would say, "I like my coffee how I like my women: sweet and blonde."  My wife is both of those."

Longarm replied to Ryan Scott's discussion Do you drink your coffee black or with cream/milk? in the group The manly art of coffee
"Depends on the coffee.  If it's a quality, medium roast in a French Press, I'll usually drink it black.  If the coffee's a roast that is more bitter, I'll balance it with a little sugar.  I typically…"

"Eh...I don't know why but I never liked the taste of straight black coffee.  I was started as a kid with milk in my coffee.  Today I generally use Coffee Mate.  I dunno...I just like it."

"I just picked up my first Parker 45 at the Atlanta Pen Show, and I can't put it down. Buy one now, before the collectors "discover" them, while they're less than half as much as a 51. I like that the 51 is fatter, but other than…"

Liam Strain replied to ClubmanPinaud's discussion Hello all. Does anyone still use iodine on their cuts?
"memories of it, certainly. But I'm perfectly content with washing it with water and peroxide (at first), then using neosporin or a betadine derivative. No need to pour the alcohol (the tincture part, and what makes it hurt) into the wound. "
