Corey C. Jordan replied to Ryan's discussion Time to man up- What would you pick when the zombies come?
"The H&K 417 chambers the 7.62x51 NATO cartridge, as does the M1A. It's a scaled-up 416. I'd prefer the M1A. Why, aside from three generations of reliability, it has a full stock, which means you can butt-stroke bad guys and not break…"

"That Franchi SPAS 12 is a semi-auto, and it requires high brass shot shells to cycle the gas system. Low brass ammo will not cycle it. You'd be better off with a pump gun, because it will can be loaded with any shot shells and function well."

Corey C. Jordan replied to Ryan's discussion Time to man up- What would you pick when the zombies come?
"Robert, you still have to aim a shotgun. A typical combat shotgun (MIL-Spec Mossberg 590) has a 20" barrel. That means that you can easily miss at short range. Even one with a shorter barrel (mine is 18.5") has a shot pattern that is still…"

Thanks for the birthday wishes everyone. Had a great day... actually a week of celebrating. The wife threw me a suprise party two Saturdays ago and we went out with my parents to celebrate last Saturday!

The cherry on top of the Sunday is my wife went to her 20 week sonagram. I am thrilled to say that the baby is in coming along nicely, and it's a GIRL!
