"Ya, if I faced zombies I would suit up in my light plate armor.
I thought about the shield option but without a unit the shield can be more of detriment. But the spatha is similar to my choice, heavy and useful in close quarters."

"The H&K 417 chambers the 7.62x51 NATO cartridge, as does the M1A. It's a scaled-up 416. I'd prefer the M1A. Why, aside from three generations of reliability, it has a full stock, which means you can butt-stroke bad guys and not break…"

This year I pretty effortlessly read about 22 books during free time, and mostly easy read novels simply for entertainment. I did some research into the…See More

"The definition is something like "evening party with conversation or music," which sounds nice, but if it's in the US and has a French name, I expect French snacks. And not just crudités, either: I want Brie and…"
"Well (and I believe myself both secure and experienced), unless the event was entitled a "soiree" (I do believe that's the first time I've ever typed that word) in a tongue in cheek fashion I'd be likely to pass.
Hi, there,I have what I believe is a stressed disk in my lower back. It is aggravated by lifting up straight in front. Carrying boxes, picking up things from the floor, and similar motions are anywhere from challenging to impossible when it is acting up. Anybody have suggestions for a workout regimen to strengthen my core without stressing my spine? Burpees, for example, seem to make things worse. I think a stronger core would take some of the load from my spine and keep the pain to a…See More
