Nice to meet all of you. I am a native Southerner (although if you ask my family we'll say we're German) moving to Colorado to begin my Master's degree. My big projects right now are learning to play the guitar, teaching myself German and Japanese, and writing a novella. I would like to start getting into better shape and learning some survival skills.
The Dark Tower series by Stephen King, Geek Love by Katherine Dunn, and Watership Down by Richard Adams are my all time favorites. There are far too many others that I enjoy to list.
I enjoy horror movies quite a bit. It's crass, but my favorites are probably The Devil's Rejects and House of 1,000 Corpses. The Poughkeepsie Tapes is also excellent.
Right now I'm listening to a lot of My Chemical Romance. My younger sister is a big fan of theirs and I've begun to develop a taste for them. I also enjoy The Moody Blues, Gin Blossoms, and Jimmy Buffet.
Go forth and set the world on fire.

"Iron sharpens iron." A place for men to impact each other by debate and exchange of ideas. This is a group where no ideas are off limits. If your motto is, "I never talk about politics or religion," this group is probably not for you. A "gym" for thinkers.See More
Men desire purpose in their work. We want freedom and responsibility and to work at something that adds up to a legacy. The best vehicle for this is to own your work. Self-employment. Free agency.See More
