I guess he has only written one book called "Patriots," I asked because ID is mentioned in the book as a good SHTF place to be.  The story is somewhat stifled but it has some interesting survival content.

So true, A number of years ago in Bonner County the building department was becoming to draconian in the zoning laws and codes being passed.  To make a long story short the whole department was fired and their computers were auctioned off, and you know what the buildings are not falling over.

That is a beautiful time of year up there, with really long days.  The water in the lakes are at the perfect temperature for swimming and boating.  we made it almost up to Canadian border on a trip last summer, I want to make it up there for a couple of weeks in the winter some time.  I hear the snow is pretty sweet, and I have spent most of my life in Colorado.

Have you read anything by James Rawles?

The Northwest is really nice, we have some family up in Boise and we really enjoy visiting northern ID.  We are hoping to get some land and build a log home up in that area.

Colorado gymnastics teacher Dylan Schuetz falls 100 feet down cliff, lands on his feet

Did any of you see this story?  Colorado gymnastics teacher Dylan Schuetz was cliff-climbing recently with some of his buddies, when he fell some 100 feet.  Amazingly, he survived, albeit with both legs broken, and says he put his gymnastics training into use the moment he lost his grip.  He also happened to be shirtless at the time, which is common for male cliff climbers.  And, as a former gymnast, I know most guys practice gymnastics shirtless.  I certainly hope he makes a complete recovery…See More
