Hello from South Korea

So, although I have posted once on here before, I am going to properly introduce myself. My name is Ricky, and I am 22 years old. I originally hail from the England, UK and my home town is Hastings (although I lived in Canterbury for three years when I was at university). I studied History at university and graduated last year, in July.Around two months ago, I made a massive life change and moved to South Korea to become an English teacher. So far, I think it has been the best decision I have…See More

"I don't think it is depression; I think it is homesickness.  It is a far different culture than what you grew up with and because of that you feel you don't belong.  My wife suffered similar reactions from moving from Buffalo to…"

I'm not really sure where to start...

Well, I am not really sure where to begin with this. But I feel like I need some help and the people on here seem like a great group. I am a long time lurker but this is my first post. The first time was just after I finished at University and the second time was when I began a temporary…See More

Should I take this job in Philadelphia?

Some family members from around Philly are encouraging me to take a job in the area. I have two concerns about it. First, it's working a call center, which I'm pretty sure is a dead-end career path. My current agency is a horribly mismanaged and hostile environment, but at least what I'm doing can springboard to program management/coordination elsewhere (though I haven't had any luck so far and I've been looking for almost a…See More
