Advice on Courting a Woman

Hi,I need some advice on how to deal with this beautiful female at work. I have had a job for a few months and I found a very attractive woman I work with. I find her physically attractive and she is intelligent, independent and generally nice. We talk at work and a few times I have sat with her to review something, and she is always interested in sitting together (i.e. she wants to talk with me and discuss as long as possible). I have gone out with her (and other friends together) a few times…See More

Motivation

Posted on September 12, 2013 at 7:30pm 0 Comments

Hi, I am in some major need of motivation. I am 24 unemployed, single, and mostly friendless. My trouble started at 16--I was a high achieving high school student determined to get into a top college and be premed. I noticed at around this age, everything became a battle---my friends stopped just being friends--everything was a war. My emotions didn't matter to my family- it was all about performance..I had no motivation to apply for college or anything...the only way I did is because my… Continue

How do I get over anxiety in sports?

Hi,
I'm actually a fairly athletic guy. I'm 6 feet, and have a fairly muscular build. Since I was a kid, I always thought way too much about things then necessary. This is something I believe I learned from my parents. For example, when I play basketball, I always start strong, score a few points and play well on defense, but then I soon get in my head, and I start losing confidence. Soon, I can't perform. This affects me…

How the loss of my father at 12 has changed my life.

I have had some good male role models, and some abusive ones too.I was hurt really bad by the death of my father.    I loved him a great deal. And being abused by  a few men in the family, it just made matters worse.I have had several great men in my life, and continue to have great male friends some older some younger.   I also help at a rehab for teenage boys.  As a teacher I make sure to pay attention to as much as I can concerning the well being of my students.  I also make sure the younger…See More
