Philippians 3:12-14

Amplified Bible (AMP)

12Not that I have now attained [this ideal], or have already been made perfect, but I press on to lay hold of (grasp) and make my own, that for which Christ Jesus (the Messiah) has laid hold of me and made me His own.

13I do not consider, brethren, that I have captured and made it my own [yet]; but one thing I do [it is my one aspiration]: forgetting what lies behind and straining forward to what lies ahead,

14I press on toward the goal to win the [supreme and heavenly] prize to which God in Christ Jesus is calling us upward.

There is a New year Ahead.  It is an open page for you to write the rest of your Life.

Defeated People look at what they are going through...Sucessful people look at where they are going to.  Don't let the hurts, and failures of the past determine your future.  The only person who determines your future is yourself.

Each morning is a new day.  Do not let what has happened to you in the Past determine the rest of your life.  God's mercy is renewed every morning...I have had many failures in life but I have never been a failure.  You are only a failure when you Quit, throw in the towel and admit defeat.

YOU ARE SOMEBODY IN THE KINGDOM OF GOD.  NO MORE VICTIMS, FORGET IT AND LET IT GO!  NOW WALK INTO THE NEW DAY...GOD BLESS YOU....My young friend I was submitting this to you to see if something like this would be acceptable for gentlemen ecumenists...It is meant to encourage not cause confussion...which is the last thing I should want to do...Dan
