Greetings! I recently was hired on by my local police department, and I am in need of a really short hair cut. The regulations state that an officer's hair cannot go past the ear. My issue is, I have…Continue

"Thank you everybody for all the suggestions. I will upload a picture tomorrow of the cut I got today. I talked with my barber and decided to start with a cut similar to that of the first picture posted by Josh. I'll work with this for a while…"

"True, if you wanted to "rip the band-aid off" and go for it, a high n' tight fits any face shape, and looks badass, to boot. And if you've never had really short hair, you'll be pleasantly surprised at how great it feels."

"Or, instead of slowly working your way shorter and shorter, you could just embrace the new you and "go for it."  Sometimes a break with your tradition is the best way to handle it.   Please post the photo I requested so we can…"

"Glad you're open to going short. A lot of younger people aren't. You've got a very youthful face, and a military type cut could give you a bit more "cred." A high n' tight is a pretty strict cut, and shows dedication…"

Greetings! I recently was hired on by my local police department, and I am in need of a really short hair cut. The regulations state that an officer's hair cannot go past the ear. My issue is, I have worn my hair long all my life and I have no idea what looks good and what looks bad on my head shape. Any advice?See More

Button up V-Fit / Athletic Fit / any suggestions for shorter/slimmer guy with a broader chest

Greetings all,Here's the deal. I am 5'7" and by no means a muscle-bound Adonis. However,my chest and arms are problematic for button up shirts.  I have a 31 inch waist and about a 37 inch chest.Case in point: I was trying to find a button up hiking shirt today at REI. The small on all the button up shirts were ok in length, a little baggy on the lower torso and way too tight on the upper torso. I am fine if I stand with my arms down, but once I cross my arms, extend my arms, or, god forbid, try…See More
