"Hey Elliot, Yeah, ditto on all you said here.  That part about not controlling discussions is very convicting for me.  Listening is a critical art and valuing the other person rather than making them a reflection of yourself. "

NO WAY!!!!!

How you doin', man?? I'm doing well. My man's mom passed away a couple years ago, and now he and I are living at his family's home up in the hills near Bethlehem, PA. I can practically hear the banjos.

Things have gotten pretty bad at the Philadelphia Orchestra. They're still investigating bankruptcy. So I have only 1 choral contract with the Philly Singers this season. So I took a job as section leader with the Bucks County Choral Society this season. Its not an AGMA gig, but there are 5 concerts per season, and money I can count on.

I had been working for Cunningham Piano Company from 2008-November 2011. I was brought on board to create their institutional business: churches, schools, colleges, theatres, etc. It was going really well until 2011 when the market went south. So we agreed that it just wasn't worth effort any more. I'l be collecting for a while I look for something local here in Bucks or Lehigh county.

I've been here at AoM for a few years, but haven't been very active until about a year ago. Interesting place. NFCS just died after classicalvoices opened up, and they're not even very active. Kinda sad.

Anyway, its great bumping into you here. Have a great New Year, and don't be a stranger.
