"Nick, you certainly will find POCs using the term POC very frequently. It's not some white, liberal moniker. It's a term that doesn't limit us to one minority in terms of either race or gender."

"JD, I think you need to listen to what people of color say about their experiences with race. Genuinely listen. Their experiences are not simply the result of race baiting. If you're upset that you're called a racist because of your…"

"There hasn't been a large scale tank-on-tank battle since 1991. But tanks certainly have been enormously important to military operations, particularly in Iraq and Afghanistan. This is a bit of a side note I realize."

Dominic replied to Pale Horse's discussion For My 2A Friends in the group The Great Debate
"PH - you described buying a gun from a friend who bought it for you, for the express purpose of keeping your name off the paperwork. Then it appears you deleted your comment describing that. You were part of a straw purchase."

Dominic replied to Pale Horse's discussion For My 2A Friends in the group The Great Debate
"PH - the definition of a straw purchase, particularly for firearms, is Person A buying a firearm for Person B so that there is no paper trail connecting Person B to that firearm."

Dominic replied to Pale Horse's discussion For My 2A Friends in the group The Great Debate

"I'm not asking if you think bombs should be legal so much as what does it matter to have the ability to own a fully automatic weapon for defending against tyranny when it wouldn't be an effective weapon against tyranny anyway."

Your favorite things about raising a boy

So today my wife and I found out that we are having a boy. This is our first child, so we are still experiencing everything for the first time, and it's a wild ride. We're very excited. I thought that since we're having a boy, I'd ask all you fathers of boys what your favorite parts of raising boys are. What do you enjoy most? On the other hand, what do you enjoy least?
