What made you want to be a Mason

Hey guys, I just found out that my Entered Apprentice night should be in April.I was just asked a question by a friend and future brother. He asked me why I wanted to be a Mason.For me it was by mistake. I was discussing the Knights of Columbus with a friend from Jamaica who was a member of a Lodge there and he thought I was discussing the Masons.
