Depression happens to more of us than I think we realize. There is no shame in it. There are things you can do about it. Remember that it skews your perspective of everything - and not being able to trust your perceptions of things doesn't help. Call your doctor, or a hotline if you need to and go down this list from time to time.

I cannot claim to authorship of this list, but I've had versions on my computer for the better part of a decade, and it's been quite helpful at…

Roma-rights is ethnic focused rather than regaining rights to a traditionally migratory/transient lifestyle in the modern world?

I have to ask what exactly, say in bullet points, would "roma-rights" include?

Te aves Baxtalo, I was discussing the use of Gypsy as a Slur and though raised where it was I fear I've become desensitized to it as the infantry turned it to a nickname. How do you feel about it in your life?

Endless Forms Most Beautiful

“Thus, from the war of nature, from famine and death, the most exalted object which we are capable of conceiving, namely, the production of the higher animals, directly follows. There is grandeur in this view of life, with its several powers, having been originally breathed into a few forms or into one; and that, whilst this planet has gone cycling on according to the fixed law of gravity, from so simple a beginning endless forms most beautiful and most wonderful have been, and are being,…See More
