"I plan to get both, but the plan is to get the CCNET and get a job, then while at that job get the second certification. That way I'll have real world experience."

"I would research the field in to which you want to transition.  There are sites that can give you the employment outlook, average salary, and other pertinent information.I would recommend getting the CCISP cert as well."
