"Viking swims. 25 meter sprint laps for 5 minutes straight, have someone time 30 seconds and each lap and your rest period in between must last no longer than 30 seconds. Do that for five minutes straight, then double the time you do it after a week…"

Justin David Weeks replied to Justin Cook's discussion Are guys becomeing weaker
"Well us southern guys were shooting guns, fishing, skinning deer, and doing the like. Also the guys I hang around with are from the MMA gym so we could argue that even though we do not maintain the older style of tough, we are quite tough. Also the…"

"Only a cigar for celebration occasions, and I am a fan of split runs, .75 mile sprint, 1.5 mile PST speed, then a 3 mile jog."

"Possibly a stupid question.  Are you timed on your maintained speed or your time between x and Y?   If you can recover in the slow mode run, you might up your overall speed by doing sprints & recovery periods.…"

Justin David Weeks replied to Dann Anthony's discussion Refillable straight razors
"I started with that to stave the cost of the actual set. Though it is sharper, most people go to straight razors for the purpose of saving money. Which replacing razors is why shaving gets pricey. "

worst moment ever!

Have you ever spent a few hours carving out the belly of a bow and when you start to start test bending it, it cracks!? I believe it was the wood I was using. Any opinions on wood type and the period of time it has been removed from the tree? I have made 13 successful bow traps but the larger ones are the ones that get me.Thank you gents.See More

"Well when I pick up the pace, the cardio would be the culprit. For the long distance runs it is more leg endurance. But I can run forever as long as I run slow enough. However I need to get into the 6 minute range for a 4-6 mile run. As that is the…"

"What exactly are your goals for running? distance? pace?  I guess I don't really know what you are asking?  If you want to get better at running then you should be running 4-5x a week its pretty simple"
