"Vertx makes really comfortable pants.  They have a variety of colors and fabrics, and all are cut with a gussetted crotch and articulated knees.  I have 4 pair, and that's almost all I wear now."

"I don't understand all of this talk about gussets. Why can't manufacturers simply make the distance between the top of the pant and the end of the crotch longer? It seems like they're all making this distance shorter and shorter, such…"

"Not my intent, but thanks for throwing this out there. Just noticing that most of the time suit pants have ample room while a normal pair of jeans or slacks don't."

"Actually, it's a very real problem.   Wrangler makes a brand of jeans, called Riggs WorkWear, which includes a crotch gusset.  One of the most comfortable designs I've worn."

"Stores and brands that are more high-end are more likely to offer the sort of pants you want.  Brooks Brothers, for example, makes a variety of different fits, from skinny modern to full. "

Manly Character

A discussion about what it means to be manly on the inside. We can participate in all the manly activities we desire and still be a coward. Men are involved in a variety of careers and hobbies that differ greatly, but we can all still be great men.See More
