Picnics - trial or triumph..

While out enjoying the sun with a companion I offered to arrange a picnic for the following weekend. Now, with time on my hands, I am wondering what people have found best to bring out on these sunny days?My first thoughts go to the basics - blanket, chicken/beef sandwiches and a bottle of water and champaign.Searching around turned up ideas such as a sealed bag of ice cubes in the bottom of the basket to keep everything cool to a simple appetizer or desert of grapes and cheese.Only recently…See More

Investing in a Family Business?

My sister-in-law (wife's brother's wife) runs a very small bakery operation out of my mother-in-law's kitchen.  As far as I know, it is a sole proprietorship.  She sells specialty baked goods for everything from kids parties to holidays and weddings.  I don't even like sweets all that much ... but her products are phenomenally good.
