Charles Neill replied to Jeff Meehan's discussion Knee Problems in the group Exercise
"I have a similar knee problem due to an old injury. Squats pop it out of place, but a LOT of midweight quad leg lifts on the bench - NOT deadlifts or leg presses - tighten things up well enough for a while. "

"One other MAJOR thing.  IF you do squats DO NOT go all the way down to touch your butt to your calves; go half way to where your thighs are parallell to the floor but no further."

Her name was Jada

I was always afraid of dogs when I was younger. I wanted nothing to do with them. They were big smelly dirty and they made messes everywhere. The barking was loud and they had such big teeth. I remember a friend of mine named Ben, He and his sister Amelia had a large Labrador named Rosie. All she did was bark and vomit what she had eaten out of the garbage. She was often sick or hurt and so she often had one of those cones on her head. My Godparents had dogs. When I was very small they had a…See More

A Bit of Advice

I went to a community college because I didn't have the money or the grades for someplace big.  Unfortunately I was a shit student and my finincal aid was at the bottom of the to do list i never looked at.  So long story short I went back and forth for several years, never finding a real job or making any real progress in school. Last year i decide to fulfil my lifelong ambition to join the US Army.  But i got an extermely bad case of bronchitus and once they found out i lied to get in i was sent packing. I had been through so much i didnt care.

Look whatever you do in the short term make sure you take it seriously and jump in with both feet.  Dont dick around for years.  If you've got an urge like to paint or whatever then take that seriously. Experiment a bit if you don't have any real desires for a career.  That's what college is really about.  Still, Good luck.

Christmas Traditions

This year we went into the mountains and cut down our own Christmas tree. This has been a fun tradition, everything from getting up @3:00am to go get the permit to getting stuck in the snow and have to rely on shovels, sweat, ingenuity, and kind strangers to get unstuck. What are some of the other Christmas traditions y'all enjoy?
