I have lived in my home for a year as of a few days ago and over that time my "man cave" has undergone a few dramatic changes. It started with a painters tape label on the floor declaring it to be a…Continue

"That's fair. I've been told that the cast iron tub needs to stay, so I'm kind of leaning towards keeping it, although I might put it in the basement and create a new bathroom instead of keeping it in my already small existing bathroom."

Bathroom window vs. Bathroom vent

Hello guys,It has been a while since I've posted and I come back to you today to ask your opinion on a small house improvement/alteration.The house I bought a few years ago has a single small bathroom on ground level with a full tub with a large smoked window in the shower area for ventilation. Having sat and looked at it a time, I wonder if it might not be a better option to tear it all out, replacing the tub with a standing shower and simply walling over the removed window, installing a fan…See More

Computers, construction, not murdering my irritating cat
Books
Christopher Moore's collection, The Dude de Ching, any fast food murder mystery (a la Jack Reacher)
Movies
Fight Club, Interstellar
Music
Well here's the issue: everyone has a favorite music and I can't really say I do. I have songs I don't like, but I like cuts from everything. For the past several years (since I was a pizza delivery driver) I've been into Alt Rock. When I trained at Hertz rent-a-car, I kept it on the Alt Rock station. That said, throw back hip hop hits the spot quite often and I've been known to blare some Brad Paisley. Can't go wrong with 70s and 80s either. Celtic bagpipes are good for working when you really can't afford to pay much attention and need pleasant white noise.

On that note, the two above movies are really there for their music and stick-it-to-the-man attitude.
