I read a lot of posts on AOM and enjoy them all. I love that this site is restoring manliness. I'm not sure how " manly " this post is but here it goes. My wife went on a beauty run today, facial, hair, nails, wax, etc. she got a massage, and all that stuff. Then she did something completely unexpected. When she got home, she had a very nice cigar for me and the ingredients for martinis. She put a tea kettle on the stove and put peppermint oil in the water. She had me lean over it with a towel…See More

another interest is getting outside my own world.I know what it takes for me to be a man.but I'm interested in others points of views.everyone has their own faith, work, ideas and so on.I want to know those things about people and how it builds them into men.I have a very strong faith in God and Christ is my saviour.I'm not here to debate His existance.I'm just very interested in learning about the jewish faith, islam, buhdism, taoism, paganism, and whatever else is out there that I dont know about.

I'm here to promote the fact that its ok to be a man.Men,quit letting your wives read books that say it is'nt.they're not from Mars,we're not from Venus.we're men and damn proud of it.

If our desires are for the things of this world, they are never to be satisfied.Pleasure, position, popularity, wealth and appearance are among the whistles in life which can't be satisfied, and for which many people pay too much.-B.Franklin in his article "I paid too much for the whistle"

A REAL MAN

A SPARTAN- a man must have the strength and fighting ability of a spartan. He must be able to defend his family, home, wealth and property. He must be unwavering in this. He must constantly train to become better.

A COWBOY- he must have the grit, the perseverance, know how and working mans ingenuity to be able to fix things and keep them running smoothly. He needs to have the same work ethic and steel jaw and be able to take the punches of life and get back up.

A plea to the gentlemen of America

Posted on March 21, 2011 at 9:19am 4 Comments

I cant help but wonder what happened to the days when it was honorable to have honor.Men acted like gentlemen and women acted like ladies. They raised their children to have a level of respect and taught them to act like ladies and gentlemen.when it was honorable to pray in public, discipline your children or to hold the door for a lady.when people would speak to each other without using vile, disgusting language,or hatred in their hearts. When a man was measured by his deeds and his works, and…
