""So what do you do?" "I'm a mattress tester." They usually get the point of I don't want to talk about it or its not important, or a "poking" ensues where we make fun of each other. Make a game of it…"

"The only thing that is wrong with it is it is awkward and tiresome having to have those conversations defending my profession in social settings frequently.  I'm not really sure what your concern is beyond that."

"What's wrong with being falsely accused?  Self-answering question. He said it was awkward, not debilitating.  People are obnoxious.  Obnoxious people cause awkwardness.  Not-so-obnoxious people have to deal with, or…"

"I don't see a problem.  If you think the image of an abattoir might put someone off her lunch, maybe. I think joking about it's fine, as long as it's not gross. "I work at an abattoir.  I'm a vegetarian.  Now…"

"The fact that a woman would be taken back by your working at a slaughterhouse is a testament to just how shallow our women are these days. She might have been just as taken back if you would have said: "Oh, me? I don't work! I'm on…"

Clinton R. Ausmus replied to Mongoose's discussion Question on Shoulders/Shirt Fit in the group Exercise
"Have you tried tailored shirts?  Or taking shirts you buy and having them altered?  Alterations aren't as expensive as you'd think they are, and you'll get a much cleaner fit, which will make your frame look even better."

Question on Shoulders/Shirt Fit

Tell me if what I am noticing is a real phenomenon, or just me:I've been lifting for about two years, and there is muscular growth around my chest, biceps, and triceps. This has affected how my shirts fit, and I've needed to give away many of my old t-shirts and dress shirts. However, I am not sure what's happening with shirts with regard to the shoulder seam. That seam where the sleeve connects with the torso of the shirt should be at the top of your arm, not down your arm. If it's down your…See More
