"The tang on the back end of the blade broke off. My guess is that the metl was tempered to hard thus the blade never held edge and it broke."

50 gallon water heater heats 25 gallons

Brand new 50 gallon water heater still can't fill a standard sized tub, but starts giving tepid water at 25 gals or so.  Service call couldn't find a problem.  I'm beginning to wonder if I'm crazy to expect a hot bath,  or if there's a spell in the house.  Any idea what's wrong?   I'm planning to call the installer again and if he can't fix it have him take it out...but will the next be better?  it has to be the heater, right?See More
