Hey everyone - Just wondering if anyone has had the problem with iTunes where random music folders get wiped off your hard drive. Looks like some random unaddressed bug that's been going on for…Continue
Hey there, everyone. Just thought I'd drop a note to say hello. This site and forum looks like exactly the kind of thing I've been after. I'm not really a message-board kinda guy but have been…Continue
"Oh, I totally agree and personally back everything up on a separate external once a month. Trouble is, if it's been more than a month since the files were deleted, they're off the backup as well as it's been overwritten.
"I haven't had any problems like this myself, but I think that this an excellent example of why we should all back up our data on a regular basis. I don't mean to be "that guy", but data losses like this are 100% preventable.…"
"Thanks Greg. I've not had the problem you are describing - but I do have my iPod set to manually sync, otherwise, same as you. I do not know if they are related.
At least you still have it on the iPod - there are various ways to retrieve…"

"Hey David - No, ripped using iTunes, but not purchased through iTunes store. From what I've gathered from other reports, the bug is a random thing though, not related to where the music came from. I've yet to actually meet anyone who has…"
"Thanks, Shane. I had never heard of Songbird, but it looks good; I'm going to look into that. Looks like you can use it to sync with iPods, too.
I'm more or less happy with iTunes; it's a bit of a memory hog and can be a…"
"I haven't used it in years. It worked pretty well to organize and playback my music though. I was the same as you, few hundred gigs of music, until my comp caught fire. I used RealPlayer for a while and liked it a lot, but…"
"Thanks, but a built-in HIIT program (like Sprint 8) changes the machine's speed and elevation automatically as you move through the sprints and recovery intervals.
That is what I am looking for (with the HIIT intervals timer).
