T-case rebuild went ok, had a few bearings I had to get removed as I would have scratched the t-case bearing surface and they were held in by internal retaining rings (without holes no less).  But it's rebuilt and I just need to tighten bolts to specified torque and re-install.  That's going to be fun without a helper or transmission jack.

Hi there Tim. Welcome to AoM. I've been in your fair city a "cajillion" times over the years. I used to live in Portland and was a currier for Providence hospitals. Anyway, I'd like to also give you a friendly invite to check out my group, The Great Debate. Just click on "Groups." It's the one with the colorful galaxy picture. It's also one of the most active groups on AoM. In any case, great to have you aboard.

Hunting Big Game if you Could?

So imagine a world where elephants and rhinos and tigers and other big game of the 1800s HADN'T been hunted nearly to extinction.  Imagine we lived in a fictional world where all the big game animals of the earth were not endangered -- they were all of least concern.Holding this vision in mind, would you find it appealing to go hunt them?  It's interesting reading all the Allan Quatermain books because at times, he tells of the hunt with great thrill and excitement and at other times he talks…See More
