David F. replied to George Corbul's discussion Dressing in style - what am I doing wrong?
"Many people don't know how to dress well and wish the did.   Add a blazer into your rotation.  Corduroy perhaps but yes a blazer.   Shoes, they should be leather and of a color you can polish and take care of.  I like…"

David F. replied to Stewart M. Davenport's discussion A parent thinks I'm too strict, I think I'm holding the boys accountable in the group Scouts & Scouters
"I have found the Scout Law and oath fairly solid.  We can argue interpretations on a few points.  That understood, most actual points where you have to step up and discipline / regulate the boys it works well. The Scout Law for those who…"

David F. replied to Stewart M. Davenport's discussion A parent thinks I'm too strict, I think I'm holding the boys accountable in the group Scouts & Scouters
"That does make it tricky.  But it sounds like he can't advance due to his own lack of care.  Hold him to the specifications just like every other boy."

David F. replied to Stewart M. Davenport's discussion A parent thinks I'm too strict, I think I'm holding the boys accountable in the group Scouts & Scouters
"I am a Cub Scout leader. If the guy can't, let him fail.  As a Cub Scout Leader I believe Boy Scouts is the time to let them, lead, fail and learn.  Hold him to the Scout Law.  If he is too busy to take the the time, he does not…"

David F. replied to David R.'s discussion Confederate flag in the group The Great Debate
"I see no problem with using the flag in reenactment situations just like for the Nazi flag. That said I wonder what people would think if people put an ISIS war banner in the corner of a state flag.  I wonder if that would be acceptable.…"

David F. replied to Jane's discussion Lady Needs Advice

David F. replied to Vendetta's discussion Passive Income

David F. replied to Ulises Torres's discussion Reel Push Mower vs Gas Powered Mower.

David F. replied to Jay D's discussion Is this a legit reason to squeeze the price?
"Very true. You may have really odd patches in various places that "fix" the data that is poorly held in the data systems also.  It seems easy on paper but the details with aged systems can really add shenanigans to the process. "

David, I noticed that you didn't put your name on the members map, I was just looking to find out how close you were to the tornado that ripped through TUSCALOOSA, Alabama. Did you suffer any from that tornado?

Then I realized I went right by your fair city when I was escaping Hurricane Katrina. I was going to friends in Tupelo.  At the time I was living in Pass Christian.
