If you have an iPod, recommend downloading the Couch to 5k (C2K5) podcasts. A good way to ease into running.
Thanks, Jeff......some great advice. After many years of trying this way and that way, I've finally come to the conclusion that listening to my own body and knowing what works for me is the only way. I'm going to now try to put that into my running…
I would recommend the book Running for Mortals by John Bingham. This guy has really motivated an old worn-out couch potato like me to start waddling, and working toward a 5k. He also has a web site that you can check out.
