Need hair product and styling advice

I know it's not very manly to ask for hair product advice but I need help. After years of having a buzzcut, I let my hair grow back but I cannot get it to stayed styled. I've attached a couple photos of what I am going for (nicely combed to the side, maybe with little pop in the front and dry). I can get it looking nice in the morning but wind and just general movement throughout the day causes it to quickly look messy. My daughter is now 15 months and fit the most part sleeps on.my chest. Whether it's nap time, or bed time. I do acknowledge that this is wrong. Me and my fiancée are first time parents.
