Hi all at AoMThe title says it all. As this community is largely based in the US I was wondering what the interest is or experience of cricket is? The world T20 (short twenty over cricket matches) is…Continue

Hi AoMNot sure how else to go about this, but does anyone know if you can save AoM blog articles into a ''scrapbook'' or the like on my Aom community page? It would be great to have relevant articles…Continue

Pompadour

Hi AoMAs the title suggests this is a discussion about the phenomenon the is the mens Pompadour. It is labelled as being a 1920/30s style which is making a huge comeback at the moment. Inspired by David Beckham, Justin Timberlake and others, as a very traditional style and one which brings back memories of wartime heroes of such an era. What are the thoughts of the community on this style and does it have the strength to be around for many years to come? Does anybody use this style in their…See More

"I admit it does have a certain image attached to it due to its traditions and cultures. Many public schools around the world facilitate cricket far better than state schools. The same can be said about rugby, certainly in the UK. That's why,…"

"I'd imagine most Yankees have a mind's eye image of cricket as something that's languidly played by the upper classes with tea served on china during active play...an image courtesy of a host of 20th century British writers.…"

"Street20 is an initiative to bring cricket into local communities. It involves stumps, bats and a tennis ball and is a way of encouraging young people to get involved in playing sport rather than hanging around causing trouble. It's run by…"

"There are quite a lot more than people think. Afghanistan, Hong Kong, Scotland, Netherlands, UAE, Nepal and USA are some of them. As you quite rightly say Canada. Many more and a lot you wouldn't expect."

"Sri Lanka won the world T20. The tournament did contain a few associate nations, but was made up of all the full playing international teams. The associates qualified through a normal world cup qualification tournament. Who knows with the coverage…"

"I like T20. I prefer T20 highlights. ;)   Who was in the world T20? And who won?   In the IPL I root for Delhi and Hyderabad because they were my homes away from home a few years ago but, in all honesty, I barely know anything about the…"
