So I like to collect military paraphenalia and general antiques. I've recently turned 22. Does this make me pathetic/sad? Well put it this way, I'm the one with the helmet and soon to have to bayonet. Also coins from 1895. Do you know anyone from 1895? Thought not.I've recently come under fire from a few people in my life saying that it's an old man's thing to collect antiques or that it's kinda pathetic to cling to the past. I would like to know your opinion on militaria collections and…See More

Hello! I suppose this is my introduction.

Hello Gentlemen and fellow manly scholars, I prostrate myself before your collective glory and wisdom! Hopefully I can forge an anchor upon which I can build a foundation for the rest of my masculine days in this most esteemed forum. All "poetry" aside, I hope I can make a good impression here and avoid any faux pas. I am a Welshman matured for 17 years before being seasoned in Cyprus with good, healthy dust and grit for for 4 respectable years. I've been trying in vain to learn German but…See More
