Weekend experience

I had rehearsal this weekend for 'Bonnie and Clyde" and the costumier asked me to bring anything I had that might work for the show.  It was a sultry day, so I was wearing cargo shorts, flip-flops and a Hawaiian shirt. On my way to rehearsal, storm clouds opened up. There were no gutters on the roof of the rehearsal hall, so there was a curtain of water I had to duck through to enter the building. Since I had so much to carry, I had to duck through the curtain of water twice. My shirt was so…See More

How can I improve my leadership abilities?

Good evening gentlemenRecently I have been promoted to a Corporal in the US Marine Corps reserve. I was happy being promoted especially cause it was a meritorious promotion and around my two year mark. I only had one problem about this, I feel I lack leading abilities. While I am very good at my job and have good conduct I never really had any leadership experience. I have no idea how to be with my junior Marines how to gain their respect as a leader and their trust. Especially since some were…See More

Out to Build Bridges

This is a GSRM (Gender Sexual Romantic Minorities or LGBTQ+) group.  But And straight men and cis-men are encouraged to join as well. However, unlike the already established AoM group "Gay and Bisexual Men", this group is wide open, no privacy settings enabled.  The overall purpose of the group is to encourage conversations between the straight and non-straight communities.  This already happens in AoM, but it is scattered.  And it can't happen in the private "Gay and Bisexual Men" group.Debate…See More
