Does your ISP throttle you?

I'm curious about ISP throttling. I've been hearing more about it happening lately. I'm with Digis, which is a microwave wireless provider. After we got set up, paid $100 for installation, I was finally told that they only allowed 6gb a day before I get throttled from 7mbps to 500kbps. The next time I talked to someone I was told it was only 4gb a day, and finally now they are saying 2gb.
