Where I live there is a sizable Jewish population, when I see someone who I know is a Jew and it's during Hanukkah I wish them a happy Hanukkah. If I know someone is a Christian I wish them a merry Christmas. Around Eid I wish any muslims I run in...

Christianity is supposed to be a revolution! The Kingdom of God is an "upside down" kingdom where we love our enemies, cherish the least, and worship our servant king who came as a helpless infant.

oh my goodness! that video is so un-American. This country is so addicted to shopping during Christmas that its major news on how much is bought and spent. The entire economy for the next year is predicted by what we spend during the Holiday seaso...

I have an interesting story along the lines of your video. There is a gay and affirming church here locally. It is where our children go when they go to church. They are one of only a handful that put in time and donations to the local homeless sh...

I get excited when I see a business using the term "Happy Holidays" instead of "Merry Christmas." I don't think Jesus wants to be associated with the chaos, anxiety, and debt that is all too common this time of year. I'm a Christian, and I believ...

great reply. Because my wife and children are still Christian and I still have leaning in that direction we do in fact try and keep in mind the reason why we call it Christmas. I also think that there is something, i dunno, heartfelt I guess about...

No, the groups should not be so militant about it. In my humble opinion they are making a bad name for their belief system when they do so. Most of the reasonably educated Christians realize that Dec. 25 th is not the date Christ would have been ...

NO there is no need, yet again it misses the whole point. While for us Christians it is about celebrating the birth of Christ (yes we know it isn't his real birthday). But on a more esoteric spin Christmas,Yule,Festivus, or what ever you want to c...

Wish me something, anything - Christmas, Hanuka, Solstice, Kwanze, Holidays, Ho Ho Ho, whatever - and make it heartfelt. Personally, I think it's ridiculous to expect that a store should force it's non-Christian employees to wish people "Merry Chr...

For the most part activist christians need to chill out and enjoy the holidays, spread peace and good will you know? I would also like to say that I was raised pagan (Wiccan, not wicked) and i belive that the political correctness that makes store...

Nope, there is no need. I love the holidays, I love getting together with the family, taking part in looking at the lights, the tree, definitly the presents for me, the cheesy movies, the even cheesier songs(until they get overplayed). I hate the...

Every year there are a few Christian organizations that get upset when a store doesn't use the word "Christmas" they ask everyone to boycott the store (It doesn't work of course studies have shown that the attention actually increases the stores r...

Actually, we're heading out for Keller (next door to Fort Worth, TX) on Monday if by wife's doc gives us the go ahead. All 3 of our daughter live there. Have a great thanksgiving buddy.

Hey Chris, I think I would post your questions on the "Wall" over in the AoM Christian Men's group. Expect to get some variation of opinion in the answers, though, depending on the question. There is a broad range of Christian traditions represented there but, for the most part, you can expect to receive the Christian prospective on a given subject.

Hey Chris, "ditto" brother. :) And thank you so much for this comment. Sometimes I really get carried away and cross the line too but, like you, I love to debate and, as you know, I feel very strongly about biblical issues. But, alas, I have to walk the line carefully as many of my Christian friends (and Brett too) feel I am too controversial. Pray for me. ha
