OK - just had to post someplace where GUYS would understand (I've been told 'You're such a girl' when it comes to shoes) My AE McNeil Color #8 Cordovan wingtips came in.  Had to order them, as there wasn't a pair in 9.5 EEE anywhere in the country.  Was told '5 weeks', but got them in 3 or 4.  Man do they FIT well , which is why I didn't go with the Alden - the different lasts.  Tried both on (they had the AE in BLACK, but) and for MY feet the AE fit better Happy Dance, except for the fact it…See More

Good bourbon on a budget

My friends and fellow gentleman, i find my supply of liquid levity growing disturbingly low. Can any of you recommend a good bourbon at a decent price? For reference, i would consider up to $50 a "decent price". I do like a good scotch now and then, but i really am more of a bourbon drinker, straight up. To get a feel for my tastes, i have found that i enjoy Dickel's Original and Wild Turkey (yes, the original lighter fluid). I'm curious about Jim Beam Devil's Cut, and i would like to know some…See More
