British shaving cream overrated?

The thing that I have never understood is why people praise these shaving creams from taylor of old bond st, Trumpers, DR harris? If you look at the ingredients they are all made with unadulterated chemicals and no essential oils. For trumpers rose and violet shaving creams, I saw "parfum" or fragrance. Why is this tolerated. If the shaving cream says "almond" why doesn't it have almond oil as opposed to artificial synthetic chemicals?See More

"Hi all: I carry a Glock G26 Gen3. About 4 years ago someone made a very real threat upon my wife's life. All of the Police and Sheriffs we spoke with suggested that I should get a gun and learn how to use it, so that's exactly what I did."
