I have my undergrad in Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering (2 degrees). My grad is in Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering with a focus on Control Systems.

Here's a link to campus Alpha.

We met about it last night and we will probably be holding it in a fraternity house on fraternity row! I'm super excited about this.

I went to UCI for my undergrad and graduate degrees. I am now involved with the college ministry at my church and work specifically with mentoring students at that school. I am also going to be involved with Campus Alpha at that school as well. I might even be teaching a class... :-O

So at no point were you reading along and said, "Oh, my! There really is a supreme being and he did create the world and sent his son to die for my sins JUST LIKE THE BIBLE SAYS," and then ran to church?

Hello Scott,
I was surprised when I read your comment in and I appreciate you making the point. Debates like this can be very frustrating because it sometimes seems we are speaking different languages. Hopefully this will foster a little understanding, though. Good to meet you! I look forward to further discussions also.

Although it is often said that Jesus' birth was in the Spring, there is actually no solid evidence for marking any date or season for his birth. Therefore, celebrating that day on December 25 is just as reasonable as celebrating it on any other day.

I didn't have the information of such a dinner. I just knew that his conversion happened on that trip to the zoo. Thanks for the info! I have read about his conversion in a different text and it explained some of his thoughts on the topic. The d...

I'm not trying to make a political statement. I'm just a horrible stickler for accuracy (as you've probably seen in my past comments).

he did love the ladies.. of that there is no doubt. I personally don't think it is an impeachable offense Deeana, you and I both know that Clinton wasn't impeached for loving the ladies (adultery). He was impeached for lying under oath. Let's not...

Christianity is supposed to be a revolution! The Kingdom of God is an "upside down" kingdom where we love our enemies, cherish the least, and worship our servant king who came as a helpless infant.

I get excited when I see a business using the term "Happy Holidays" instead of "Merry Christmas." I don't think Jesus wants to be associated with the chaos, anxiety, and debt that is all too common this time of year. I'm a Christian, and I believ...

This is one of the main goals of my life right now. I am working at owning less "things" while procuring high quality, lasting, items. I am also looking to move into a smaller more efficient home.

There are some great thoughts on here. Personally, I only use one cologne. I used to have about three different scents that I liked and using them at different times kept the smell fresh to me. However, in the past few years I have gravitated to ...

Perhaps this is not what you are looking for, but I used to be an atheist and am now a committed follower of Jesus. Just as you mentioned in your post, this was an extremely difficult change. It required that I take a completely different perspect...

Bravery is a friday afternoon. Stupidity... never tried it.

It's said that bravery isn't being without fear, but conquering it. Maybe stupidity is being without fear (when the danger is real).

Stupidity is doing what others fear either because you are lousy at calculating odds, don't consider consequences, or have something to prove. Bravery is doing what you must, even if you fear it.

We live in a world where the two are often blurred because of what modern movies portray as bravery. For example picking fights. A while ago I was in Athens, Greece with some Army guys during the vacation season for Greeks (August.) In August the ...

It has often been said that it is a very thin between bravery and stupidity. What is bravery and what separates it from stupidity? Do you have any personal examples which speak to your opinions?
