"Awesome work Alan Murray. I would like to say the "Lt. Frank Bullit" painting (I'm not sure who that is) reminds me of Lorne Greene as Cmdr. Adama from Battlestar Galactica"

Joshua Whitworth replied to Bofur the dwarf's discussion What Do You Do That Makes You Feel Like A Man?
"I suggest working out, working with tools, hiking, reading manly things (I like sports books and biographys), collecting something nostalgic (pocket knives for me), watching sports, being with family, helping with chores to give some relief, and…"

George Husted replied to Bofur the dwarf's discussion What Do You Do That Makes You Feel Like A Man?
"Good list.  I had a beard for about 5 years (after getting out of the military).  I kept it trimmed, but in retrospect it did feel manly.  I still sport a mustache and have since I was 16 years old."

Dave H replied to Dave H's discussion New job, induction dress code
"Thanks for the response an induction over here (I'm from Northern Ireland by the way) is like they bring you in and go over the job, the rules and policy's like health and safety and that sort of thing. The job itself is picking orders in…"

Jack Bauer replied to Dave H's discussion New job, induction dress code
"Not sure exactly what an "induction" is. I wouldn't wear a suit to a warehouse job, though.  Dressing to impress is fine, but not if it's going to get in the way of you doing the job.  Is it a manual labor job, or an…"

New job, induction dress code

Hello gents,As the title suggests I have been invite to a new job induction. When I say new job induction I mean I am not quite sure weather I have fully got the job, that is why I am in a bit of a pickle. I recently became unemployed through no fault of my own, I left my old job as a shop assistant to try the hospitality industry, and I did not like it one bit, the hours were horrible, the management poor, and in general I had a really poor experience. So I applied for a few other role through…See More

Wild Man replied to Mongoose's discussion Question on Shoulders/Shirt Fit in the group Exercise
"you can get work shirts tailored. I've actually looked on youtube and it's easy if you know someone who sews. or you can take one to the local tailor n see how much they charge. How much work/lifting are you doing for your shoulders?"

Mongoose replied to Mongoose's discussion Question on Shoulders/Shirt Fit in the group Exercise
"I alter them myself. The problem is that you cannot alter a shirt's shoulders. I usually am able to find shirts which fit, and have a great wardrobe. It's just an issue for work shirts or other shirts which do not have an athletic fit."
