Pike replied to Daniel Theodore Geloso's discussion Not knowing any masons but wanting to petition in the group Freemasonry
"I was in pretty much the same position when I decided to join. I had known a few masons growing up, but had moved to Maryland from Michigan in the interim and didn't know any masons around here at all. I ended up just going to the Grand Lodge…"

Charles Neill replied to Pike's discussion Where to buy a ring in the group Freemasonry
"If you can't find something in your price range online, or something you like, try an antique shop! I found a pair of gold cufflinks that matched my great grandfathers antique ring that I wear to lodge. it's worth a look!"

"I do not have much cash to spend on myself, the family comes first.  I went on Amazon.com and found a ring for $20 and bracelet (with magnets) for $40.  Both are Tungsten carbide and are very well made.  "

Pike replied to Pike's discussion Where to buy a ring in the group Freemasonry
"Thanks for the recommendation. I'll be sure to ask about it, but they gave me a lapel pin to wear and didn't admonish me not to wear insignia (as they had in the preceding degrees) so I assumed it would be ok. Either way I'll need one…"

Where to buy a ring

Hi everyone,I was recently raised to the Sublime degree of Master Mason, and wanted to get a ring (maybe a lapel pin or two also), but I'm not sure where to do so.  There are a few online stores that show up if I google it, but I was hoping maybe one of you might point me somewhere that you know to be good qualityThanksBro. Portnoy replied to Jesse Dean's discussion What Would You Do?
"Not what I meant. I'm sure you thought you were being light hearted, it is just that from my own experience of being your age and being in situations with others your age, the light hearted isn't as light as we thought we were being. Hell,…"

Todd McFarland replied to Christopher Everet's discussion How do you handle just being friends with your crush?
"The answer is simple. If you haven't already, make your feelings for her clear.  You don't want to walk away without knowing for sure that you are in the friend zone. If she puts you in the friend zone, forget about her and move on.…"

Todd McFarland replied to George Corbul's discussion How does one become a 'real' man exactly?
"Agreed that women's ideas vary widely, which means there are women for who like whatever type of man you want to be.   Don't let any woman define what a real man is for you.  That's ass-backwards."

Jesse Dean replied to Jesse Dean's discussion What Would You Do?
"What? It was light hearted. I don't think I can learn how to read people's minds and tell if their dad is the coach of the team. But thank you. Maybe they aren't that helpful."
