Wine Glass #2

The second render of my wine glass. This one took around 4 hours and 45 minutes to render. I'm still not very pleased with the results, as it doesn't look very real to me, though I'm still learning and practising.

Blender is Free Software, not open source.  There is a very important distinction.

No, Blender 3D, it's open software.
In this model, I'm satisfied with the top of the glass. The lower part of the glass looks very fake, and also gives the illusion that it's floating on the 'table'. Which it's not, at least in the scene. It's really standing on top of the table.
I'm going to change the color of the table yet again, to my first test of the wine glass, and keep the background. Should give the best illusion of it being real.

Has Taylor of Old Bond Street sandalwood changed?

I've used Taylor of Old Bond Street sandalwood scented shaving cream for several years now. I was surprised when a new container I'd just purchased looked and smelled differently. The cream is "wetter" than it used to be and the smell has changed quite a bit.I just ordered another container hoping it was just a bad lot, but it's the same.Has anyone else noticed this or is it just me getting old or something?See More
